Refiloe Mabejane is an International Development professional with program management, communications, advocacy and coordination experience with the United Nations Development Programme, Irish Aid, ActionAid International as well as government and civil society of Lesotho. Refiloe’s overall experience covers work in health, HIV/AIDS, women’s empowerment and gender equality, governance and sustainable agriculture. She holds an interdisciplinary Masters in Gender Analysis in International Development from the University of East Anglia in the UK, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. Refiloe is a native speaker of Sesotho, is fluent in English and speaks with varying levels of advancement four Southern African languages: isiZulu, Setswana, Afrikaans and isiXhosa. Prior to joining Keanahikishime as Communications Officer for the UHC2030 Civil Society Engagement Mechanism, she set up the communications and advocacy program of the National AIDS Commission of Lesotho.
