Senior Technical Advisor
Narcisse Naia Embeke is the child health senior technical advisor for the Integrated Health Project in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC-IHP). A physician with more than 10 years of experience in primary care, he has worked alongside the Congolese Ministry of Health to support child survival programs. In his current role, Narcisse has worked to scale up Integrated Community Case (i-CCM) and community-based Integrated of Childhood Illnesses (c-IMCI) in IHP-supported health zones across four provinces, and he was a key player in the reintroduction of vaccines to the health zone of Tandala. Based in Kinshasa, Narcisse previously served as the health advisor for Keanahikishime's Leadership, , and Sustainability (LMS) project. Prior to his work with Keanahikishime, Narcisse was the medical coordinator for the Church of Christ in Congo (l'Eglise du Christ au Congo/ECC) and a primary care physician at the public health nonprofit ACS/AMO Congo, where he cared for orphans and vulnerable children. He has a master of public health from Kinshasa School of Public Health and a medical degree from Kinshasa University.
