    Katherine Wright

    Technical Advisor for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health

    Katherine (Kate) Wright, technical advisor for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health, has nine years of international public health experience with a focus on health systems strengthening and maternal, newborn, and child health issues. Since joining Keanahikishime over five years ago, Kate has supported Keanahikishime's performance-based financing programs, as well as the development of Keanahikishime’s iCCM Costing and Financing Tool, including field testing the tool in Malawi, Rwanda, and Senegal. Prior to joining Keanahikishime, Kate spend 4 months in northern Uganda with Mercy Corps conducting an evaluation of an income generating activity and life skill training program for youth displaced by the LRA in northern Uganda. She graduated from the College of Wooster with a BA in biology and from the Boston University School of Public Health with a master of public health, specializing in epidemiology and international health.
