Technical Director, Health Systems Strengthening
Hudson Nkunika, technical director, Health Systems Strengthening, brings over 20 years of increased responsibility and experience in public health systems strengthening, having served as District Health Services administrator, chief hospital administrator, chief health planning officer, national coordinator for the Global Fund Health Systems Strengthening Program, and most recently senior technical advisor for Policy and Human Resources for Health for the USAID Support for Service Delivery Integration-Systems (SSDI) Project. Hudson has experience and technical expertise in all three health systems strengthening sub-areas under ONSE Health. As senior technical advisor for SSDI-Systems, Hudson has been integral in supporting the Ministry of Health (MOH) to develop, review, and revise evidence-based health policies and institutionalize the integrated Human Resources Information System (iHRIS), as well as the Performance System. From Malawi, Hudson holds a Master of Science Degree in Strategic from the University of Derby, United Kingdom, in addition to several national and international certificates in health systems strengthening.
